Once you've made Pork Chops in the Air Fryer, you'd never go back to pan frying. No baby-sitting the pork chops until they are done and you can make them with way less oil or fat. My pork chops always turn out so juicy, delicious, and never dry or rubbery. This really is a wonderful method, you guys. So if you have an Air Fryer, definitely give this Pork Chops recipe a try.
Since it's just me and my husband, I only make two pork chops in the recipe but you can easily multiply this recipe and make more, as long as you can fit them in single layer in your Air Fryer basket. If not you can always make them in batches. Also, if you want to make 3 pork chops, you'd probably have enough marinade to marinate three chops with the given amount.

All the ingredients I use in the recipe are pretty common pantry ingredients you can always find in the grocery store. If not, don't worry, there are some substitutes that you can use or just season with the ingredients you have, and it's still delicious.
Soy sauce: Make sure that you use light or regular soy sauce. Not the dark soy sauce. Light soy sauce is more for the flavor and saltiness. Dark soy sauce is more for the color and it's not salty. If you don't want to use soy sauce, coconut aminos or Tamari are really good substitutes.
Granulated garlic and onion: adds more flavor. You can also use onion and garlic powder. You can also use grated ginger, but I do not recommend grated onion as a substitute.
Ginger powder: I use powdered ginger for convenience. You can also use freshly grated ginger and it would add even more flavor.
Paprika: This is mostly for color. Otherwise, the pork chop could look a little too pale when you Air Fry it. If you like a bit of heat, you can also add some cayenne pepper powder.
Lime Juice: Some acid is a must in this recipe. It helps to tenderize the meat as well as to balance the flavors. You can substitute lime with lemon juice or vinegar.
Pork Chop: I use bone-in pork chops that are about 1 inch in thickness. You may find some thinner chops at the store as well. Please make sure to reduce the air fryer time accordingly. The cooked temperature for pork is 145°F.
This is such a versatile (and basic) recipe so you can pair it up with so many dishes.
I love to serve it with fried rice or Jasmine rice and a side of vegetables for a quick weeknight meal.
You can also serve it with some mash potatoes, gravy, and a side of roasted veggies.
I also like to cut up the pork chop and use it in burritos, tacos, sandwiches, and fried rice.
My easy recipe to cook perfectly juicy, golden, and delicious Pork chops in the Air Fryer.
Add soy sauce, garlic, onion, ginger, black pepper, paprika, lime and sugar to a bowl. Mix well. Add pork chops. Mix well to coat the chops with the seasonings. Cover and refrigerate for up to 24 hours or marinate on the counter for 30 minutes.
If you refrigerate, let it come to room temperature before cooking (by leaving the bowl on the counter for about 30 minutes). Now place the pork chops on the air fryer rack or basket. Spray with cooking oil.
Air Fry for 6 minutes at 400°F/ 205 °C . Turn it over, spray with a bit of cooking spray, and air fry again at 400°F/ 205 °C for about 6 minutes, or until the meat is cooked through. Rest the meat for about 5 minutes before serving. (The internal temperature of pork should reach 145°F/ 63C. I usually cook it until it reaches 140°F, and it keeps rising when it rests.)
